Marland Technical Services Ltd has established a new company named “MARLAND BOAT SERVICE LTD” for the service of lifeboats, launching appliances and on-load release gears in compliance to the new regulation IMO/SOLAS regulations (incl. MSC/Cir 1206).
Our service engineers are experienced with vast knowledge on the FRP lifeboat construction, and hook release system etc and are trained and authorized by makers to issue certificate.
With the support of our associated lifeboat factory in our region, we can carry out for all kind of major repair or reconditioning of lifeboat..

IMO MSC402(96) and China MSA - Requirements for Maintenance of Lifeboats and Rescue Boats, Launching Appliances and Release Gear We are pleased to inform that we, Marland Boat Service Ltd. (MBS) has now successfully obtained the approval from most of the major Flag States and Classification Societies to perform the lifeboat service in compliance with the statutory requirement of IMO MSC402(96) which was enforced on 1st of January, 2020. In addition to this, we are also registered in the system from China MSA to perform lifeboat service in all China Seaports, Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea and Taiwan. |
