Lifeboat Manufacturing

Marland Technical Services Ltd formerly owned a sole subsidiary lifeboat factory called “Wuxi Hai Hong Boat Making Co Ltd” at Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province, China in 1993.

In 2001, Marland further invested a new lifeboat factory named “Hai Hong Boat Making Co Ltd” at Panyu City of Guangdong Province, China. In 2006, Marland formed a joint venture company called “Fasmer-Marland Ltd” with Fassmer of Germany and all the production personnel and facilities were merged into this JV company. The production plant of Fassmer-Marland Ltd is located in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, China and has a 3,000 m2 GRP processing workshop, a 4,000 m2 outfitting workshop as well as 1,500 m2 mechanical workshop. This new JV factory is able to supply lifeboats, davits, nacelles and spinners in according to customers’ requirements.
