Marland Technical Services Ltd was
established in 1988 as a wholesaler of engine spare parts. Since then, its areas of
expertise have broadened to include ship repair and manufacturing of life boats. During the
past 17 years, the company has expanded by several folds in terms of size as well as
business turnover. The company started up in 1988 with one office and two persons and now
has three offices, two warehouses and one factory, with a working team of over 200
persons.
As China continues to develop, Marland Technical Services is in a strong position not only
to utilize the resources available domestically but also to introduce foreign shipyards
and marine products to the ship owners and ship managers of Hong Kong and China.
Currently, Marland's main activities include: -
- Stocking and sale of marine diesel
engine spare parts
- Manufacturing of lifeboats
- Ship repair sub-contracting
and acting as shipyard agency
- Other investment in industrial products
